CITY OF LOS ANGELES ENVIRONMENTAL NOTICES

Notice is hereby given to the general public of the availability for public review and comment on the following Environmental documents. This publication is intended to serve as our Notice of Intent to adopt the following Negative Declaration (ND) / Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND). Documents are also available online at the Dept. of City Planning’s website https://planning.lacity.org/development-services/negative-declaration-public-notices  CD indicates the Council District, sf indicates square feet

NEGATIVE DECLARATION: ENV-2023-3278. ENV-2023-3278-A. Citywide. Al Fresco Ordinance would amend Sections 12.03, 12.10.5, 12.11.5, 12.12.2, 12.13, 12.13.5, 12.14, 12.21, 12.21.1, 12.22, 12.24, and 16.02.1 of LAMC to clarify & streamline Zoning Code regulations regarding outdoor dining on private property in City of LA. As proposed, outdoor dining that complies with applicable standards would be permitted as a by-right use in zones where restaurants are currently permitted. Any outdoor alcohol service would continue to require compliance with all applicable zoning regulations, as stated in an existing or new discretionary approval or in compliance with proposed new ministerial approval. Ordinance contains new zoning regulations which provide a pathway for restaurants to move forward with the approval process for outdoor dining, including restaurants who are currently offering outdoor dining on private property under Los Angeles Al Fresco Temporary Use Authorization as well as restaurants who would like to newly expand their outdoor dining operations. MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION: ENV-2022-6053. ENV-2022-6053-A. ENV-2022-6053-B. ENV-2022-6053-C. ENV-2022-6053-D. 7222 N Tyrone Ave; Van Nuys. CD2. Project is on a 6,750-sf lot & will demolition existing single-family home & construction a new 4-story, 8-unit apartment building with a recreation room & a gym with on-grade parking garage with 11 parking spaces. Project will include one very low-income dwelling unit. Building has a total floor area of 9,600-sf for an FAR of 2.3:1 & is less than 45 feet in height & maintains a 15-foot front yard, 7-foot side yards & a 16-foot rear yard.
