Project Description:
The expansion of an existing high school, including the construction, use, and maintenance of a new campus.
Requested Entitlement:
Pursuant to LAMC Section 12.32 F and 12.32 Q, a Vesting Zone Change and Height District Change from the [Q]C1-1VL and P-1VL Zones to the C2-1 Zone;
Pursuant to LAMC Section 17.15, a Vesting Tentative Tract Map to allow the merger and subdivision of project site into two ground lots and one airspace lot;
Pursuant to LAMC Section 12.24 X 22, a Zoning Administrator's Determination to allow new structures ranging in height from approximately 25 to 90 feet in lieu of the 25 feet, 33 feet, and 61 feet within 0-199 feet of lots zoned RW1 or more restrictive per the Transitional Height limitations required by LAMC Section 12.21 1 A.10 and existing and new 8-foot fences and gates in the front yard required by LAMC Section 12.21 C.1(g); and,
Pursuant to LAMC Section 12.28 A, a Zoning Administrator's Adjustment to allow a 48-foot tall school building in lieu of the 45 feet allowed by LAMC Section 12.21.1 and existing and new structures to encroach in the front and side yard setbacks required by LAMC Sections 12.05 C and 12.07.1 C.
