An administrative review to determine the proximity of a project site to a transit service. A Transit Verification form must be completed by the applicant and reviewed and signed by the Department of City Planning staff. This form is primarily used for projects utilizing Density Bonus law (AB 1763 and AB 2345).
Preliminary Review for a Housing Development Utilizing the Transit Oriented Communities Affordable Housing Incentive Program Guidelines.
An administrative review to establish and verify a Tier in the Transit-Oriented Communities Affordable Housing Incentive Program. To be an eligible TOC Housing Development, the project must be located within one-half mile of a Major Transit Stop. A Tier Verification shall be completed by the applicant and reviewed and signed by the Department of City Planning staff prior to filing an application for a case or building permit.
Request for Al Fresco Alcohol Authorization and clearance on outdoor dining areas and areas with temporary LA Al Fresco authorization.
Administrative authorizations for qualifying establishments to sell and serve alcoholic beverages on-site within the Downtown Community Plan area.
Request for building permit clearance for sites where alcoholic beverage sales and/or entertainment uses are proposed, are ongoing, or were previously approved, including electronic sign-off of Clearance Summary Worksheets. A request for an Al Fresco outdoor dining area clearance must be submitted through the "Al Fresco Authorization" module.
Request for clearance of a stand-alone CUB and/or CUX case for alcohol/entertainment use, (i.e., not combined with other discretionary actions within the same case) in order to effectuate and utilize approval, including: recordation of the main Covenant and Agreement; condition clearance; and collection of MViP fees for inspections of operations.

Bluff analysis demonstrates whether the subject property contains a coastal or canyon bluff. A bluff analysis must be prepared by a California-licensed Professional Engineer or Geologist and discloses whether a coastal or canyon bluff exists on the subject property. Development on lots with a bluff are required to set back any structures from the natural bluff edge.

Pursuant to the Mayor’s Emergency Executive Order No. 4, this application is for a Long-Term Temporary Use Authorization for Schools and Child Care Facilities (TLT-EO4) specific to those facilities impacted by the Los Angeles County Firestorms, first igniting on January 7, 2025.
Permit clearance request for a development project located within a Redevelopment Project Area.
Preliminary review for a development project located within a Redevelopment Project Area to determine the appropriate process and review required for the proposed project. When applicable, a Referral shall be completed by the applicant and reviewed and signed by City Planning staff prior to filing an application for a case.
Projects that are maintaining the basic structure and character of a home and/or adding less than 900 square feet, as defined by Section 11.J of the MSPSP may be approved through an Administrative Clearance or an SPP case. To obtain an Administrative Clearance, provide the relevant permit history, photographs of the existing house, and the proposed plans with their Clearance Summary Worksheet (CSW) for Mulholland Staff review. Please note that projects within 200 feet of parkland, 50 feet of a prominent ridge, and/or 100 feet of an identified stream, are not eligible for an Administrative Clearance.

Universal Planning Review services provide a single-entry point project review for all relevant zoning and entitlement requirements, application screening, and environmental screening. Services apply to certain commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
Categorical Exclusion Order E-79-8 was adopted by the California Coastal Commission on October 16, 1979, pursuant to Public Resources Code Sections 30610(e) and 30610.5(b). This application will be reviewed by the staff of the Los Angeles Department of City Planning and a determination will be made that the project is located within the excluded area (geographic limits noted in E-79-8), complies with the conditions outlined for each Category of Development and Geographic Area, and the limitations of Order E-79-8.

Slope Band Analysis Map shall clearly delineate/identify the Slope Bands, and shall include a tabulation of the total area in square-feet within each Slope Band, as well as the RFAR and Residential Floor Area value of each corresponding Slope Band depending on the relevant geography.
