Increasing Transparency on Council Time Extensions Ordinance Hearing Notice

On April 8, 2025, the Planning Department will conduct a Virtual Informational Webinar and Public Hearing for the Proposed Ordinance. All interested persons are invited to participate. The Webinar Presentation will begin at 4:15 p.m. and will include a brief overview of the Proposed Ordinance and a Q&A session. The Public Hearing will begin at 5 p.m. The Public Hearing is a formal opportunity to provide public comment on the Proposed Ordinance and the associated CEQA clearance to a Hearing Officer conducting the Public Hearing on behalf of the City Planning Commission (CPC). No decisions will be made during the Public Hearing. Comments received during the Public Hearing will be considered by City Planning and included in a future recommendation report that will be presented to the CPC. The recommendation report will be accessible through the online CPC meeting agenda at planning4la.org/hearings. Participants may join the Public Hearing online or by phone at any time between 5 - 6 p.m. to provide testimony. In order for all viewpoints to be presented, speakers at the Public Hearing may be limited in the length of their testimony.

In lieu of attending the Public Hearing, comments may be submitted by email to stacy.farfan@lacity.org or by hard copy to the address below through April 18, 2024 at 5 p.m.  Any written communication must include case number CPC-2024-6096-CA and ENV-2024-6097-CE.

Next Steps
