City Planning Hosts Webinars for Housing Element Rezoning Program Draft Ordinances

In March, City Planning released three draft ordinances in support of the Housing Element Rezoning Program, including the Citywide Housing Incentive Program (CHIP) Ordinance, Housing Element Sites Ordinance, and Resident Protections Ordinance. Subsequently in April, the Department hosted three webinars, including one in Spanish and one in Korean. During these webinars, staff presented background information on the Housing Element Rezoning Program and detailed key information for each recently released ordinance. These webinars were an opportunity for interested parties to learn more about the draft ordinances, ask questions, and provide initial comments.
