Dr. Laura Dominguez
Commissioner Dominguez is a historian and postdoctoral fellow with the USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute. In her public-facing work, she specializes in co-creating culturally relevant partnerships and projects in California and the West. She has previously worked with San Francisco Heritage, the Los Angeles Conservancy, and the National Park Service. She is a co-founder of Latinos in Heritage Conservation and has served on the Board of Trustees of the California Preservation Foundation and as a member of the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office Civic Memory Working Group.
