Christopher Torres Member Area Planning Commissions

Commissioner Torres is the Founding Principal of Agency Artifact Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. He brings over a decade of experience in all aspects of architecture, design, planning, public art, and community engagement, and has led large-scale multidisciplinary architectural practices working locally and internationally. Mr. Torres holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley, training in Urban Design from Columbia University and a BA in Urban Studies from Loyola Marymount University. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Landscape Architecture Foundation and the LA Forum for Architecture and Urban Design. When not in the office, Mr. Torres and his wife can often be found at a nearby beach at any time of the year.
