Staff continued to work on outreach and refining the plan based on community feedback. This included the release of a four-part video series that is available on our website. The video series covers the plan policies and zoning, outreach to date, strategy for affordable housing, and steps going forward. Additionally, work on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) continued.

In anticipation of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) publication in 2022, an overview of CEQA and the EIR process was presented to various community groups in Fall 2021.

Staff continued to attend quarterly South Coast Air Quality Management District Community Steering Committee (CSC) meetings for Assembly Bill 617. We thank all of the community members who have and continue to provide feedback, ideas, and be engaged with the project.
