Giovanni Zuniga is the Public Policy Manager for Pathways LA, a nonprofit and Resource and Referral agency in downtown Los Angeles, where he advocates for policy and systems changes that improve access to quality, affordable early learning settings for children across California. He works closely with decision makers to advance equity-driven policies, and helps develop family engagement programs that amplify the voices of those most impacted by systemic inequailty. Prior to his time as Public Policy Manager, he worked as Field Representative for Assemblymember Mike A.

Commissioner David Phelps is a State and Local Public Affairs Professional and Principal of Phelps Public Affairs. He has 25 years of hands-on experience with non-profit management, business consulting, and organizational advocacy. The Commissioner regularly works with top employers in the North Valley’s manufacturing sector to address future workforce and economic development needs in our region.

Jaime Del Rio is a Los Angeles native born and raised in the Northeast San Fernando Valley. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from California State University, Northridge, and has worked as a Community Organizer since 2014. Currently, Jaime is the Director of Organizing for Abundant Housing LA. Before joining AHLA, he worked at TreePeople from 2019 to 2021, leading outreach efforts on a Needs Assessment WaterTalks survey and organizing Water Equity issues in marginalized communities.

Commissioner Collado leads grants, administration, and the Flow Fund for Climate Justice for the Panta Rhea Foundation. She has more than 20 years of experience with nonprofit direct service and grantmaking organizations in the areas of communications, artistic programming, community engagement, and grantmaking. Commissioner Collado has a master’s degree in arts management from the Claremont Graduate University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco.

Commissioner Sampson is a graduate of Florida State Christian College and an avid supporter of real estate education and awareness across the country. He has worked as Vice Presidents of Sales for Coldwell Banker Real Estate for more than 20 years. He currently serves on the City of Los Angeles Area Planning Commission for the North Valley.
