Commissioner Johnson is the Executive Director of Pathway To Tomorrow, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
advancing affordable housing, environmental conservation, and water security in vulnerable
regions. She hosts and executive produces the Pathway Podcast, featuring conversations with
national and local leaders on innovative solutions to these global challenges.
Mrs. Johnson brings over 15 years of experience as a private real estate developer and investor,with previous roles in Corporate America at Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan, KeyBanc Capital
Markets, and Deloitte Consulting. She holds a Master’s degree in public policy from Columbia
University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola
Marymount University in business administration.
A Los Angeles native, she enjoys exploring the city’s beaches, parks, and hiking trails with her
husband and daughter.
