New Applications Temporarily on Hold
We have put a temporary pause on accepting new applications for the Mills Act program while we conduct a comprehensive assessment to help make the program more sustainable in terms of long term funding and staffing, as well as enhancing some of the program’s equity outcomes. In working towards a restart of the program’s application process, we are planning to bring forward policy recommendations to amend the City’s Mills Act ordinance for the City Council’s deliberation and approval.
