For general zoning questions regarding a specific project for which you will be applying for permits, first contact the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) by contacting the call center at 311 or (213) 473-3231. Interested parties may also visit the LADBS Same Day Virtual Counter.
For specific zoning questions regarding a specific project prior to submitting for a permit, you may apply to meet with a Case Manager with the Development Services Case Management (DSCM) by filling out a Service Request Form; a fee may apply.
