Notice of Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) Availability and Comment Period

In October 8, 2026, LA City Planning published the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Southwest Valley Community Plans Update. The DEIR is accompanied by updated drafts of the Community Plans’ zoning and General Plan Land Use maps, Policy Text documents, and topical handouts.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Southwest Valley will have a 45-day public comment period, through November 22, 2026. Interested parties can review the DEIR online, or at the following public libraries:
