Draft Ordinances

City Planning released Initial Draft Ordinances in June 2026 and received public feedback through a webinar, office hours, technical working groups, and written comments. The Second Draft Ordinances below were informed by that feedback and additional technical review. This release also includes an updated Missing Middle LA Fact Sheet, Citywide Code Amendments and an update to the Objective Design Standards for Small Lot Homes (formerly known as Small Lot Design Standards), to expand their application to Starter Home Bonus Projects, available for public review.
